Great shipbuilding needs great technology, so as electrification and hybrid technologies become more commonplace on all types of ships, are US shipyards ready for the challenge of scaling up production and adding advanced technologies? Are US technology providers and shipowners able to find yards to build new ships with the best new technologies? The panel brings in key stakeholders from across these disciplines to address these questions and highlight recent successes and challenges as the industry rises to meet ambitious new goals.
